More About This Episode:
In this episode of the Balanced Growth Show, we’re spending time with Paul Hatch, a man with nearly 40 years of financial advising experience with some top companies. That career never would have happened if his dream of becoming a Navy jet pilot came true, but he realized his vision wouldn’t allow it while in school at the US Naval Academy.
While that was unfortunate for him, it turned out to be very fortunate for the industry. Now he focuses his time with Vestria Capital to help empower other advisors by providing capital solutions to optimize growth. And he does this at age 65 while being a father of a 7-year-old so balance can be tricky at times.
We’re excited to share this discussion today, where Paul shares his struggles and successes over a long career.
Join us today as we discuss these things:
How he went from the Navy to a long career in finance. (1:08)
Through all the mistakes he made early on, he finally realized that becoming a better person meant more to success and balance than anything else. (4:54)
His top struggle has always been doing too much at the detriment of his health and relationships. (10:58)
What are the biggest issues he’s seen advisors have? (16:12)
How his company now helps advisors with balance and growth? (21:25)
